Lies of P is experienced through a third-person perspective, allowing players to assume control of the humanoid character, Pinocchio. Navigating the city of Krat on foot, players can engage in exploration and combat against various biomechanical adversaries. Armed with a diverse array of weapons such as swords and axes, Pinocchio has the ability to evade and block incoming attacks. Additionally, Pinocchio's mechanical arm can be equipped with gadgets like a grappling hook for luring enemies or a flamethrower. With a weapon and crafting system offering 30 distinct weapon types and over 100 combinations, players have ample options for customization. The game incorporates a unique "Lying System" wherein player choices during specific moments influence the unfolding of events, ultimately leading to one of three different endings.
